1.Can I still use Search Ads if I don’t have a website?

Yes. Yellow has a very simple solution for this very problem. We have exclusive rights to promote your Yellow Profile using Search Ads, but only if you do not have a website. This is a highly cost-effective and easy way to get online and buy leads for your business.

2.How do I know it's working?

You will receive monthly reports on all our services that will tell you how each of your products are being interacted with by customers. Search Ads are meant for driving customers to action. We provide call tracking and website measurement to ensure our ads achieve this. Your reports will show you how many calls, online sales and emails our ads have got you. We'll work with you to ensure these interactions relate to business success.

3.How do I stay on the top of search results all the time?

Having enough budget to compete is just one factor, however, there is no way to guarantee the top position all the time and Google requires its partners not to guarantee this. You can read more about Google’s requirements in their disclosure notice here.

 

4.Why might I not be able to see my ad when I search for it on Google?

Here’s a few of the common reasons:

Too many searches

If you repeatedly search for your own business on Google but you don't click your ad, you may stop seeing the ad after a while. That's because Google's system recognizes your computer and stops showing ads that it thinks you aren't interested in.

Daily Budget

We set our campaigns to spend the daily budget evenly throughout the day for the hours we have scheduled. This may mean if there are many searches for the many different services or products we are targeting that Google will hold your ad back from some searches to save budget for other searches that day.

Targeting Settings

You may be searching at a time of day or from a location that we are not targeting. We target our campaigns at customers when and where they will be searching from to find you.

The Ad Preview tool can help you view your ads as they appear in Google search results. We recommend only using this tool to review your ads.

5.I can’t find my ad on Google?

Google has created a tool that allows you to see your ad without influencing your campaign’s performance. It is called the Ad Preview Tool and can be found here: Ad Preview Tool

The tool allows you to choose where you are searching from and what you are searching for and will show the ads that would show up at that time.

6.What is the cost of one "Search Ads" click?

The cost of one click varies by keyword and is tied to both, the competition for a particular keyword and the relevance of your ads and website to that keyword. At Yellow, we’re experts at getting you the highest number of clicks and ROI for a given budget. We use a combination of human analysis and Google’s machine learning to calculate the best bids for searches in real time.

7.How do I find out what keywords are being used for my Search Ads campaign?

A comprehensive list of top performing keywords is included in the performance report sent to you each month.

8.Am I locked into a Search Ads contract?

Our minimum sign up period starts at one month. However, you need to provide us with written notice or call us on 0800 803 803 should you wish to terminate your contract. Termination will take effect up to one month following receipt of notice.

9.Does Yellow charge me anything for Search Ads?

Yellow’s initial setup of the campaign, tracking and the ongoing management/optimisation are covered within your package, so there is no additional charge. View our rate card here to see how much of your package is management fee and how much we pay Google for ads.

We also provide you with a report every month, showing how much Yellow has spent with Google on your behalf and what results that spend has generated.

 

 

10.What happens to my Search Ads budget for the month if you don’t spend it all?

All of our Google unspent monthly budget automatically rolls onto the next month, so you always get the full value for your money in the long-run.

11.Why do I see a different number in my ad on Google?

All of Yellow’s Search Ads campaigns come with a free call tracking number. This number still goes to your business line, but it also helps us count the number of calls your ads have generated for your business. We can even turn on call recording upon request, which will allow you to delve even deeper into the value that your ads provide.

12.What is Call Tracking? Is there a separate cost?

Call Tracking is an effective way to measure the number of calls we generate for your business. A unique phone number will be displayed on your website only when a visitor arrives via our Search Ads. This unique number will be diverted to your business number. Every month, we’ll report on the number of calls your Search Ads have generated for your business.

We provide the Call Tracking service for free, along with your Search Ads campaign.

13.Can’t I contact Google directly for my advertising? Why Yellow?

Google can provide very basic assistance when setting up your Google Ads account and they do not offer ongoing management services. They generally advise you to contact a Premier Partner (Yellow included) to assist with this process, however we recommend using an independent Google Premier Partner like Yellow to manage your ads to best practice, whilst throwing in some  innovative hacks to run more competitive campaigns.

14.How much input can I have to the content produced?

That’s up to you, in the briefing stage, you can provide as much or as little as you wish – as long as the brief has all the basics, we can do it all for you including image selection, copy and design. You are welcome to supply your own images and we can insert them into the plan. This one is all about team work.

15.How does this solution help my business?

This solution enables your existing Facebook page follower base to engage with you by liking, commenting and sharing the posts. Apart from what we post on your behalf, we know that businesses who regularly post on their Facebook page themselves are able to engage their followers through content that is interesting and shareable. 

16.Is there a minimum contract period the Subcription Solution I am purchasing?

This solution is a month by month commitment, you can amend, upgrade and downgrade all or parts of your solution each month to suit your changing business needs.

17.Can I add this Facebook Content solution to my existing Yellow bill and pay at once?

If you are an existing Yellow customer you can purchase online and we will add it to your current account, we do need credit card details as confirmation of our T&Cs, but no funds will be taken out without your consent. Once your order is processed we'll add it to your account and we will use the credit/debit card registered for all future payments of your account.

18.How do I know my Facebook Content solution is working?

You will receive monthly reports on all your products that will tell you how each of your products are being interacted with by customers.

19.When do I get reports for my Facebook Content solution?

You will receive a report once month that covers all your live products that month. We'll flick you an email when the report is ready.

20.Can I remove a product from the solution?

Our solutions work when all the products are together. If you don’t the recommendations, you can create your own solution by heading to our product page and selecting your own.

21.When purchasing online, can I add a product or solution to my existing Yellow bill and pay at once?

If you are an existing Yellow customer you can purchase online and we will add it to your current account, we do need credit card details as confirmation of our T&Cs, but no funds will be taken out without your consent. Once your order is processed we'll add it to your account. All new online products are paid in advance rather than in arrears, but on the same bill date.

22.How do I change products in my solution once I’ve purchased them?

If you need to change any of your products, then please get in contact with us on 0800 803 803. We also have a live chat option on our website which you can ask your questions at. 

23.Is there a minimum contract period for Facebook Content?

We’ve made this flexible so you can get content only when you need or want it. Busy month ahead and no time for Facebook? Then let us help. This solution is a month by month commitment, so each month we prompt you to refresh your brief so we can build new content. You will also have the option to simply re-submit the previous month’s brief. If you need to take a break, or you want to stop, that’s fine too.

24.How do I know the Marketing Solution I have purchased is working?

25.When do I get reports for products and solutions I have purchased?

Each month we prepare a top line overview combining several of our digital products, namely Yellow Online, White Online, Website, Call Tracking and Search Ads.  Once this report is available we will send you an email notification. In addition we send monthly reports that contain more details for Search Ads,  Display Ads, Video Ads and Search Engine Optimisation products.
