As Chief Executive, Darren is charged with leading the transformation of this iconic New Zealand business with a digital first focus. Alongside his leadership team he is building a high performance culture where our people are part of an incredible journey to make a real difference to New Zealand businesses.
Darren brings to the role over 20 years of international digital marketing experience for global brands in the creative agency and entertainment sectors. He has a reputation for developing high performing teams, and for using his strategic leadership skills to drive brand and product strategy to deliver sustainable business growth.
Chief Financial Officer
Stephen was appointed Chief Financial Officer in March 2014 and leads Yellow’s finance and customer experience teams. Stephen has over 20 years of experience with Yellow across a range of finance and management roles, and played a leading role in the transformation of the business and setting Yellow up as a standalone entity.
Chief People Officer
Tracey leads the People and Culture team and sets the people strategy for Yellow, with a focus on talent attraction, culture and digital transformation. Tracey and her team are committed to developing great leaders, driving employee engagement, and aligning people policies to help Yellow meet its business objectives.
Tracey joined Yellow in 2018, and has a wealth of generalist HR experience gained internationally and within NZ in her previous roles in the media, digital and consultancy sectors. She is passionate about Yellow and its people, diversity and business transformation and encourages everyone to continually learn and grow to achieve their full potential.
Chief Technology Officer
Matt joined the leadership team in June 2016, heading up the Yellow Technology team, responsible for the organisation’s technology strategy and focused on building and improving our enterprise systems and digital properties. He has extensive experience in the IT industry, delivering complex technology solutions across multiple sectors within New Zealand and internationally.
Matt is passionate about working in a capable, high performing team, together accelerating Yellow’s transformation into a compelling digital business.
Chief Marketing Officer
Bruce heads up the marketing team at Yellow, a rambunctious and multi-talented team working hard to transform this iconic New Zealand brand, with a continued focus on helping businesses navigate the digital marketing space. Bruce has a strong belief in the opportunity that Yellow has to help connect people with their local businesses, community and each other.
He joined Yellow at the beginning of 2018 and with 27 years in marketing, sales and business management, Bruce has developed an impressive reputation for reshaping the marketing and engagement functions of companies in both the corporate and not-for-profit sectors. Previously GM Marketing and Engagement for World Vision New Zealand, Bruce has also held senior leadership roles with Canteen NZ, Film Construction Group, and The Parenting Place.
